Ralphie had a great time at his grandparent’s house. He was certainly kept busy!
Each morning breakfast was delicious. Contrary to his previous concern, he was completely content with eating from his travel dishes after all!
After breakfast, Ralphie decided to explore the outside world. First with a long walk down the driveway, then a visit with the next door neighbor.
“It looks nice out!”
“Knock knock, anyone home?”
“Thanks for the nice visit and treats, but it’s time to go.”
“I’m ready for a nap again, quick let’s get inside!”
“Ahhh, there’s always time for another nap or lounging session!”
The next day they had a snow storm! No rest for the weary, Ralphie had to head outside and help shovel.
Afterwards, Ralphie was pretty tired from standing next to the shovel, so he decided it was a good time for a nap. He found a cozy spot on the couch.
When he woke up for a nap, he went to look out the window.
“I think it’s time for a treat…I wonder when Sanna and Steve get back?”
Ralphie had a very nice visit with the grandparents, but he’s ready to head home.
Stay tuned for Part 3: The long good-bye!
